General Information

Our parish falls within the Church of England Diocese of Chelmsford. We look after our two, historic village churches and their congregation as one administrative parish with one Parochial Church Council (PCC). We are one of four rural parishes in a team of six churches in the Colne Valley on the western edge of Colchester. Our benefice (Parish of All Saints, Wakes Colne & St Barnabas, Chappel with Parish of St Barnabas, Great Tey & St James the Less, Little Tey) falls within the Hinckford and Halstead Deanery, where Rev^d Mark Payne of Colne Churches is our Area Dean.

In recent years our congregation has increased and it is our constant wish to welcome new members to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
